Saturday Central Park Run

Every Saturday 09:00

Meet: Maine Monument at the Columbus Circle Entrance

Distance: 5K

Our weekly Central Park run welcomes healthcare workers of all running levels, from complete beginners to experienced runners. We adjust the session based on who joins, using run/walk intervals or conversational running, and split into pace groups when needed. No one runs alone or gets left behind. We usually cover approximately 3 miles/5K and meet for coffee afterward. Having trouble finding the meeting point or have a question before the run? Send us a direct message on Instagram at @pace.makers.runclub

What happens at a session

1. Arrive and check in

Come five minutes early. A leader takes names, asks if anyone is new or coming back from injury, and sorts the groups.

2. Warm up together

Five minutes of brisk walking and easy drills. Nobody starts cold, especially not straight off a shift.

3. Run your own run

Groups split by pace, including a walk/run group. Every group has a leader and everyone loops back to the same finish.

Bring: trainers you can walk comfortably in, water, and a layer for standing around afterwards. That is genuinely it. No club kit needed, no minimum pace, no signing up in advance.
